The Sweet and Sassy of Our Vacation...

SWEET:
Our view from the beach house was gorgeous.  The night we arrived we watched a pod of dolphins swim by our house.  The beach was alive with all kinds of sea creatures.

 SASSY:
HOLY Humidity!!  Florida was gorgeous but let's talk about the humidity.  I invested in a new selection of headbands because my new Florida "do" was never let my hair touch the rest of my body.  It was HOT!

SWEET:
Have I mentioned how much I LOVE my new car. :) Well, I do!!!  It was a fun and zippy little ride on our vacation.

SASSY:
But trading in the SUV and getting a new sporty car before a 20 hour road trip with 5 people, including 2 teenage boys with baseball gear.......not a good idea.  Notice the Mr. Sweet trying to get the trunk to close with all of our stuff.  Our luggage seemed to expand every time we took it out.

SWEET:
The great thing about being on the road for HOURS is you get really creative.  We talked, sang songs, and challenged ourselves with how many truckers we could get to honk at us.

SASSY:
We were also able to spend quality time together.....also known as separating siblings because they were tired of touching each and we were tired of listening to them.

SWEET:
On the way home we stopped in Atlanta, visited Legoland, and watched a Braves game.  I LOVED Turner field.  The ballpark was very nice and we had great seats to enjoy the game.

SASSY:
It rained the first hour of the game so we sat in someone else's seats under an awning.  This gave us the opportunity to meet new people.

SWEET:
There is nothing like being away from your home, feeling refreshed, and having a new sense of gratitude for everything in your life.

SASSY:
But every vacation ends with.............HOLY laundry!!!!

Well, it's time to get ready for a Kim Sutton Math training today.  I'm looking forward to seeing some friends and learning new things.

Be Sweet!
